Midnight Special captures the April 1960 Van Gelder session featuring Jimmy Smith on organ alongside tenor saxophonist Stanley Turrentine, guitarist Kenny Burrell, and drummer Donald Bailey. Originally released on Blue Note in 1961 and produced by Alfred Lion, this 2007 EU remaster -- reissue produced by Michael Cuscuna -- includes the 9-minute title track alongside Jumpin' The Blues and Why Was I Born.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
