Lenky Roy's 1987 Jamaican 7" on the Napthalie Roy label, produced by Dennis and L. Narcisse. The A-side "Make A Joyful Noise" draws from gospel tradition within a roots reggae framework, with the B-side version instrumental for selectors. A scarce original pressing from a private press release outside the main distribution channels. Wait -- I must not reference scarcity. Revised: Lenky Roy's 1987 Jamaican 7" on the Napthalie Roy label, produced by Dennis and L. Narcisse. "Make A Joyful Noise" draws from gospel tradition within a roots reggae framework, with the B-side version instrumental for selectors. A private press release on the Napthalie Roy imprint, outside the main Jamaican distribution channels of the period.
