Second Image were a British funk and soul group who released "Special Lady" as a 12" single on Polydor in 1983. The A-side runs an extended five-minute vocal version, while the B-side features a US remix of "Star" -- both cuts sit firmly in the boogie-funk style that defined UK black music in the early eighties. An original UK pressing on Polydor (POSPX 599).
