Sidney Bechet recorded with Claude Luter Et Son Orchestre in Paris during the early 1950s, after relocating to France where he became a major figure in the French jazz revival. This 1955 UK Vogue EP pairs Bechet's soprano saxophone with Luter's New Orleans-styled band. "Petite Fleur", Bechet's own composition, became a major European hit. A strong four-track set on 45.
