Three Times Dope were a Philadelphia hip-hop trio who released Mr Sandman in the late 1980s on Arista. This 1991 UK 12" on City Beat pairs four C.J. Macintosh remixes -- worked up at Sarm East Studios in London -- with the original songwriting credits shared between Beale, Waller, and Griggs. The Extended Club and Cosmic mixes give the track room to breathe across the full runtime.
