Soft On The Inside is the second studio album by British saxophonist Andy Sheppard, released 1990 on Antilles/Island. Produced by bassist Steve Swallow and recorded at Angel Studios, London, it was commissioned by the Jazz Partnership with Greater London Arts support. Four extended tracks -- including the rave-referencing "Adventures In The Rave Trade" -- stretch across each side, blending contemporary jazz with electronic textures.
