Ashford & Simpson's "Babies" was lifted from their 1984 Capitol album *Solid*, the duo's self-produced set recorded at their own recording studio in New York. This UK 12" (12CL 355) pairs the extended mix with a dub version plus an extended cut of "Outta The World", making it a solid dance floor package from a late-period high point in their Capitol run.
