Chill Fac-Torr's self-titled debut LP came out in 1983 on Philly World Records, the Philadelphia-rooted UK funk and soul label. Produced by Bert Willis, the album runs deep with extended cuts built for the floor -- "Shout (The Exotic)" and "Fox Hunting" both stretch past seven minutes. "Twist (Round N' Round)" nods to classic Philly moves while the B-side pulls into slower, late-night funk territory.
