Cleveland Eaton was a Chicago bassist and cellist who recorded for Cadet and BASF before landing on Gull in the late 1970s. This 1978 UK 12" pairs the disco-funk title track -- built around Eaton's bass -- with "The Funky Cello" on the flip, one of the few disco-era cuts to centre the cello as lead instrument. A limited pressing on Gull, the UK imprint that also ran Tangerine Dream and Be-Bop Deluxe.
