Superb NM/EX condition. From a beautifully preserved collection on the Arhoolie label.

Recorded at Gold Star Studios, Houston in May 1965, this is Clifton Chenier's debut LP for Arhoolie, produced by label founder Chris Strachwitz. Chenier, the accordion player who shaped modern zydeco, runs from Louisiana blues to Creole two-steps and waltzes. Catalogue number F1024 on the original US pressing.
