Craig Pruess is an American composer and producer based in the UK, and this 1979 Ariola Hansa 12" single pairs the disco-funk title track with a cover of Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Lady." Produced with Richard Niles, "Moving In The Direction Of Love" runs nearly six minutes and sits firmly in the late-70s UK disco production style. A limited edition pressing on the original Hansa label.
