Edwin Birdsong is best known for "Cola Bottle Baby," the 1979 funk track that Daft Punk built "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" around. This 1984 US 12" on his own Singh imprint finds him in disco-electronic territory. "Perfect Love'n" runs across both sides in vocal and instrumental versions -- a self-released single from an artist who clearly knew his way around a groove.
