Edwin Starr's post-Motown run continued into the early 80s on UK dancefloors. Released on Calibre in 1983, this 12" single finds Starr self-producing a slick funk-soul cut with an instrumental on the flip -- useful for DJs. Best known for "War" and his Northern Soul output, Starr had been based in the UK since the mid-70s, and Calibre was among the British labels that kept him active.
