Fat Larry's Band were a Philadelphia funk outfit led by drummer Larry James. "Boogie Town" is a 1978 12-inch disco mix on Fantasy's WMOT imprint, written by Doris and Larry James and produced by WMOT Productions. The a-side runs over seven minutes; the flip, "Space Lady," matches it. The group later scored a UK top ten hit with "Zoom" in 1982.
