Fat Larry's Band formed in Philadelphia in 1977, led by drummer Larry James. "Lookin' For Love Tonight" was released as a 12" single in 1979 on Fantasy Records, written and produced by Larry James with Doris James. The A-side runs nearly seven minutes of Philly-edged disco funk. The B-side "We Just Can't Get It Together" adds another six minutes. This is the UK Fantasy pressing.
