Fats Waller's 1955 HMV EP draws on his 1930s recordings, featuring four solo piano performances including his reading of Hoagy Carmichael's "Georgia On My Mind" and James P. Johnson's stride classic "Carolina Shout." Released on the 7EG 8098 catalogue number and reviewed in Gramophone's April 1955 New Jazz and Swing EPs column, this is a neat period-correct UK pressing of Waller at the keys.
