Open Sesame is the debut album by trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, recorded June 1960 and originally released on Blue Note. This 2019 reissue on Blue Note/UMe brings back the hard bop set produced by Alfred Lion, featuring Hubbard alongside Tina Brooks on tenor sax. Standout cuts include the title track and "Hub's Nub", both Hubbard originals. Note: the copyright year on the rear sleeve is misprinted as 22019.
