Gibson Brothers' "Cuba" was a major European disco hit in 1979, co-written and produced by Daniel Vangarde -- father of Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. This UK 12" on Island Records runs both the full vocal mix and instrumental across nearly eight minutes each, making it a proper DJ tool. The track reached number 41 in the UK charts and was a bigger hit across Europe.
