Howlin' Wolf's self-titled UK EP on Pye International from 1963, licensing four Chess recordings including "Smokestack Lightnin'" -- one of the most covered songs in electric blues. "Going Down Slow" dates back to St. Louis Jimmy Oden's 1941 original. A rare 45RPM mono EP pressing of Wolf at his Chess peak, with Chester Burnett's vocal power and Hubert Sumlin's guitar in full effect.
