Jackie Mittoo was the house keyboardist and musical director at Studio One, the Kingston label run by Clement "Coxsone" Dodd. Macka Fat collects his instrumental rocksteady sessions recorded at 13 Brentford Road -- organ-led cuts built on the rhythms he helped define for the label. This is a Studio One repress on white label with green type (SOL 1120). Highlights include the title track and "Ghetto Organ".
