Washboard Rhythm is a 1963 UK Ace of Hearts compilation (AH 55) drawing on Decca USA recordings from 1926 to 1932. It brings together five groups -- Jimmy Bertrand's Washboard Wizards, Williams' Washboard Band, Beale Street Washboard Band, Alabama Washboard Stompers, and Chicago Stompers -- across twelve tracks of pre-war jug band and washboard jazz, including "47th Street Stomp" and "Cushion Foot Stomp."
