Gangster Of Love is a 1977 US compilation on Power Pak (a Gusto Records imprint), collecting early electric blues and R&B sides by Johnny "Guitar" Watson recorded before his 1970s funk breakthrough. The title track became a standard later covered by Steve Miller. Watson's guitar work across these ten cuts shows the Texas blues and showmanship that defined his early career.
