Oakland Blues is a 1969 Electric Blues LP on Liberty Records, recorded across three sessions in Berkeley and Los Angeles in 1968--69. It brings together three Bay Area bluesmen -- slide guitarist L.C. Robinson, Lafayette Thomas, and pianist Dave Alexander -- arranged and directed by Jimmy McCracklin. Albert Collins also appears, credited as "Houston Twister" in the discographical notes. First UK pressing on Liberty LBS 83234.
