Laura Lee's debut single, released on Chess in 1967 and produced at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals by Rick Hall. Both sides showcase Lee's powerful delivery -- "Wanted: Lover, No Experience Necessary" is a standout, its punchy arrangement pointing toward the harder funk she'd develop on Hot Wax in the early 70s. An original US pressing on Chess 2030.
