The Banger Factory is the debut album by London trumpeter Mark Kavuma, recorded live to tape at The Fish Factory in September and December 2018 and released in 2019 on Ubuntu Music. Kavuma leads a working band through six originals in a hard bop style rooted in the post-Clifford Brown tradition. Recorded and mixed in London, it captures a band in real time with no studio-assembled edits.
