A Tribute To Jack Johnson is a 1971 studio album by Miles Davis, recorded in 1970 as the soundtrack to a documentary on heavyweight champion Jack Johnson. A 1990s US reissue on Columbia (PC 30455), 125g pressing. Two extended sides -- "Right Off" builds from a hard rock groove anchored by John McLaughlin's guitar; "Yesternow" closes with a splice of Davis's 1947 recording of "Shhh/Peaceful."
