BGO Records' 1996 CD pairs two Muddy Waters live sets: the celebrated 1960 Newport Jazz Festival recording and a 1971 residency at Mister Kelly's in Chicago. Newport captures the electric Chicago blues band at full intensity, with "Got My Mojo Working" across two parts. The Mister Kelly's sessions, produced by Ralph Bass, were recorded across two nights in June 1971 and include covers of "Stormy Monday Blues" and "Boom Boom."
