Oliver Cheatham is best known for "Get Down Saturday Night" (1983), a Chicago soul and disco track later sampled extensively in house music. This 1987 LP on UK indie Champion Records, produced by Rob Davis, collects eight tracks of dancefloor soul and funk. Includes a cover of Rose Royce's "Wishing On A Star" and the Chic-referencing "Good Times."
