Pat Kelly was a Jamaican singer who rose to prominence with Techniques in the late 1960s before going solo. "Striving For The Right" is a 1970 UK original on GAS 145, a Pama Records subsidiary. Both sides are Kelly originals -- the A-side a devotional roots vocal, the flip a smooth romantic piece showing the range he brought to his early solo work.
