Whims Of Chambers is a 1956 Blue Note hard bop session led by bassist Paul Chambers, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack and produced by Alfred Lion. This is a 1996 remastered CD reissue on Blue Note, pressed in Holland. Chambers leads a sextet through six originals, with his own bass lines as much a feature as the front-line horns.
