UK Original. Rare British Jazz. A couple of spots of laminate bubbling at spine. Otherwise sleeve is EX.

Phil Seamen was one of Britain's most admired jazz drummers, a bebop specialist who worked alongside Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, and visiting American musicians throughout the 1950s and 60s. Phil On Drums was recorded live and released on the UK independent 77 Records in 1974. The set features four tracks including Duke Ellington's "Just Squeeze Me" and "When Sonny Gets Blue."
