Quincy Jones's big band take on the pop and soul hits of 1965, recorded at RPM International in Los Angeles across three November sessions. This is a first UK pressing on Mercury, mono. Jones reworks James Brown's "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" and "I Got You," alongside the Supremes' "I Hear A Symphony" and McCoy's "Hang On Sloopy," with full orchestra arrangements throughout.
