Ruddy Thomas was a Jamaican vocalist active from the late 1960s, recording for producers including Joe Gibbs and Sonia Pottinger. Go Home Son is a self-produced 1981 Jamaican 7" on his own Ruddy T imprint, with a dub version on the flip. Self-pressed singles of this kind from early 80s Jamaica are relatively uncommon outside the island market.
