Sonny Clark's Three Classic Albums compiles Cool Struttin' (1958), Sonny's Crib (1957), and a third Blue Note session across two CDs. A 2015 Real Gone Jazz reissue (RGJCD218), it brings together Clark's hard bop piano work alongside Blue Note regulars including Art Farmer and John Coltrane. Cool Struttin' remains his best-known recording, with Blue Minor a particular standout.
