Recorded in Paris across three September and October 1953 sessions, this 10" LP captures altoist Gigi Gryce leading a big band alongside trumpeter Clifford Brown, just months before Brown's Blue Note and EmArcy recordings brought him wider recognition. Released on Vogue LDE 070, this is a UK issue from 1954. Highlights include "Brown Skins" and "La Rose Noire."
