Song For My Father is a 1964 Blue Note album by The Horace Silver Quintet, recorded across three sessions between October 1963 and October 1964 and produced by Alfred Lion. This is the RVG remastered CD reissue, produced by Michael Cuscuna, transferred at 24-bit resolution and including four bonus tracks not on the original release. The title track has been widely sampled in hip-hop. Hard bop with Latin and gospel influence throughout.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
