The Players Association were a New York funk and disco outfit led by guitarist Danny Weiss. This 1978 UK 12" on Vanguard pairs their disco cover of the Trammps' "Disco Inferno" with "I Like It," both drawn from their debut LP. The Players Association version predates the Trammps' own hit single release and brings a funk-heavy arrangement to the track.
