Be What You Are is the 1973 album by The Staple Singers, released on Stax. Recorded at Muscle Shoals, it followed the commercial breakthrough of "I'll Take You There" and features two further hits -- "If You're Ready (Come Go With Me)" and "Touch A Hand, Make A Friend." Bill Withers' "Grandma's Hands" also appears. This is the original UK Stax pressing (2325-103).
