The Strikers were a New York disco act whose two best-known tracks appeared on Prelude Records in the early 1980s. This Canadian Unidisc reissue pairs "Inch By Inch" (1981) with the extended 14-minute "Body Music" (1982) on a single 12". Both tracks draw on synthesised basslines and call-and-response vocals typical of the Prelude sound.
