The Tennors were a Jamaican vocal trio who recorded for Studio One and other producers in the late 1960s. "Ride Your Donkey" is one of their best-known rocksteady cuts, produced by Albert George Murphy and released on Island's WI series in 1968 -- an original UK pressing on one of the key outlet labels for Jamaican music reaching British audiences at the time.
