The original 1982 US 12" on Bridge Records. Written by Billy and John Valentine, produced with Bobby Lyle, and recorded at Lion Share Studios in LA, this boogie soul cut was later covered by Simply Red in 1985, giving it wider recognition. The Valentine Brothers' original runs six minutes on the A-side with a full instrumental on the flip.
