Tina Brooks' The Waiting Game was recorded in 1961 but shelved by Blue Note and not released until 1985. This 2021 reissue, supervised by Joe Harley and mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog tapes, is pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI. The hard bop session features Brooks' tenor alongside Freddie Hubbard, with "Stranger In Paradise" among the standout cuts.
