True Blue is the debut album by Tina Brooks, recorded June 1960 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, and originally released on Blue Note (BST 84041). Produced by Alfred Lion, it features Brooks on tenor sax alongside Lee Morgan. This 2005 European CD reissue was remastered by Rudy Van Gelder from 24-bit analog transfers, with two alternate takes added by reissue producer Michael Cuscuna.
