Okeh Chicago Blues is a 28-track double compilation of recordings made for the Okeh label between 1934 and 1947, covering Chicago, Country, and Piedmont blues styles. Released on Epic in 1982 as part of the Contemporary Masters Series, it draws on sessions featuring artists including Big Bill Broonzy and John Lee Hooker -- whose "Crawlin' King Snake" appears here in its original 1941 recording.
