Winston Francis recorded "Mr. Fix It" for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One imprint, released on the Coxsone Records label out of Jamaica. Francis was a key Studio One vocalist through the late 1960s and early 1970s, and both sides here -- "Mr. Fix It" and "Struggler" -- reflect that rootsy, stripped-back Studio One sound. An original Jamaican pressing of a sought-after single.
