Winston Groovy released "Please Don't Make Me Cry" as a UK single on Torpedo Records in 1970. The label appeared in two variants -- dark green with solid centre and green with push-out centre. The A-side became one of his best-known tracks, later recorded by UB40 on their 1983 Labour of Love album. Backed with "Motion On The Ocean."
